Per United States Coast Guard compliance and bareboat regulations, bareboat charters may accommodate up to 12 passengers. We recommend 10 guests on our smaller vessels, like our 31’ Sea Ray. The Captain/Crew underneath the charterer are not considered passengers.

Once you confirm your reservation, you will receive an e-mail with a list of authorized captains that are familiar with our vessels. You will have to reach out to the captains to see their hourly rates and their availability. Guests are also able to provide their own captains with the correct credentials. The charterer must have the right to hire/fire the captain/crew.

We do not allow tie ups during charters. Tie ups increase the risk of illegal bareboat charter activity with guests unknowingly exceeding the 12 passenger capacity restriction.

All of our vessels are docked at Diversey Harbor. Pickup and drop-off will be at Diversey Harbor. The address to the harbor is 2601 N Cannon Drive, Chicago Illinois 60614.

There is free parking along Cannon Drive for our guests. There is also pay-to-park at the Diversey Driving Range, north of the Harbor. We recommend that our guests get dropped off by Uber or Lyft.

According to the United States Coast Guard, a bareboat charter constitutes a demise charter where the Charterer (renter) assumes temporary ownership of the vessel for the duration of the charter. As the temporary owner, the Charterer bears responsibility for the vessel, their passengers, the selection of an Operator/Captain, and the provision of supplies including food and beverages. It's important to highlight that the Charterer has the option to either operate the vessel themselves or choose a qualified Captain/Crew.

Yes! Guests are allowed to bring their own food and beverages including alcohol. However, we do not allow red wine, colored juices, or staining foods.

Yes! All of our vessels either have a cooler or a refrigerator on board for food and drinks.
